Contracta is an independent contractor solution provider, based in the Isle of Man.  We work with industry leading partners to provide effective contractor solutions to individuals operating in various business sectors around the world.  Contracta receives administrative support from Atlas Corporate Services, one of the largest providers of professional officers and corporate services in the Corporate and Trustee Service Provider (CTSP) industry.  Atlas administers over 15,000 internationally registered companies and has been active in the corporate services industry since 1996.  Atlas has an international team of 30 highly skilled and experienced professionals capable of servicing a broad selection of clients.

We also work with SMP Partners, an Isle of Man based CTSP, that manages and administers the Contracta Contractor Benefit Trust (CBT).  SMP Partners offers deep expertise and a meticulous approach to corporate services, global wealth structuring has been at the core of their business evolution for almost 30 years.

Our staff have years of experience

We have some of the most experienced staff in the industry, who, over the years have managed thousands of contractors, both within the UK and around the world.  They have been providing contractor solution services to contractors and self-employed consultants for over a decade and our team has the industry experience and expertise to support your needs, now and in the future.

We have relationships with most major employers and agencies, and are on the approved supplier lists for many well respected agencies.  When you start working with Contracta as an independent contractor, we will make contributions to your discretionary trust based on the profit we have generated from employing you (effectively the difference between the amount invoiced for your services and the cost of employing you) to an Isle of Man CBT.

Effective contracting solution

As a self-employed contractor working for Contracta, we pay you a retainer fee, on which tax and NI contributions will be due and payable by you in your annual tax return.  The remaining funds after payment of your retainer and management fees are paid to an independent discretionary trust from where you receive loan payments.
